Bills on second reading for this meeting are mostly sewer mains, manhole, and easements (infrastructure) legislation.

BL2024-343 would add a councilmember to the Arts Commission among other changes

BL2024-375 would create a compliance board to audit existing construction contracts in which Metro is a party

BL2024-380 agreement between Nashville Police Activities League (Nashville P.A.L) and MNPD to develop extracurricular activities for at-risk youth.

Bills on Third Reading:

BL2024-271/272 changes from CS to SP zoning for property located at 316 Homestead Road to permit 23 townhomes; I am going to defer this bill one meeting to work on an amendment

Metro Water Services still needs volunteers to Adopt a Storm Drain. Keeping drains clear of sticks, leaves, and trash can help prevent flooding during the big rain events that seem to be happening more and more frequently. To adopt a storm drain near you, click here.
